Protecting data of all kinds from loss, theft or damage is an essential part of a data management strategy. When identifying risks to data, a key action is to perform a data protection impact assessment (DPIA). In addition to being a requirement by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), a DPIA protects critical data from threats and identifies potential vulnerabilities.
